That is why I'm suggesting we draft an OL-man in the 2nd round and sign two in FA.Their offensive lines are two of the top 12 in the league. The Cardinals is not.

Yup.Throw everything and the kitchen sink at the Raiders to trade up for Mendoza.
After watching him last night why not? If he turns out to be all that and more we are set for 10 years.Throw everything and the kitchen sink at the Raiders to trade up for Mendoza.
The only way Kyler is still here next year is if the HC the Cardinals REALLY want , REALLY wants Kyler. Also Kyler ids going to have to REALLY want to stay.Where I disagree with you about KM is that if we keep him and Jacoby and draft a QB in the 3rd round, we'll have:
* Protection from injury.
* Time to develop our new QB w/o throwing him to the wolves.
* And even if you don't want KM, I think he gives the best chance of winning, while the team develops the new QB. And, if the new QB develops sooner than expected, KM could be traded.
It would take more.Yup.
Kyler.
#3.
2027 1st.
2027 3rd.
If Kyler works out for them that would be one of the sweeter deals in league history.
My simple question is there a absolute dominate player that will be available at 3 so far Love or maybe Reese and Downs are the only ones Simply sucks to be the Cards this year not only a rather crappy draft class with draft position but a coaching decision also the old saying applies Same Ole CardsWhat if there are no holes? #arizonacardinalsoffensiveline
Too much water under the bridge to bring him backThe only way Kyler is still here next year is if the HC the Cardinals REALLY want , REALLY wants Kyler. Also Kyler ids going to have to REALLY want to stay.
All unlikely.
Simple question Ime not against Keeping K1 btw but will the dead money situation be any better after next year or will be the same or worse we all know Bidwill isnt exactly known for losing or spending moneyWhere I disagree with you about KM is that if we keep him and Jacoby and draft a QB in the 3rd round, we'll have:

The Jets can offer something better than a pro bowl starting Quarterback?Oaken, do you think that the Raiders would take that deal. Because if they would they'd probably take a better offer from the Jets.
are you a part of Raider Nation?? I have been since 1976,...and a very large portion of these guys have a man crush on Kyler.... I was just wondering if that fascination might over rule the sense of getting a solid pocket QB....It would take more.
As a Raider fan I would be thinking,
Kyler instead of Mendoza and perhaps finding our qb for the next 10 years?
there are possibilities... just takes a GM that loves a guy...and also fears some other GM at 4 or 5 just might take the guy he likesMy simple question is there a absolute dominate player that will be available at 3 so far Love or maybe Reese and Downs are the only ones Simply sucks to be the Cards this year not only a rather crappy draft class with draft position but a coaching decision also the old saying applies Same Ole Cards
Yep like the Colts taking Jim Harbaugh in the 1st lousy player Great Coach or whoever too Jamarcus Russell or when we took Steve Little #1there are possibilities... just takes a GM that loves a guy...and also fears some other GM at 4 or 5 just might take the guy he likes
Of course. Because the first question Tom Brady would ask is, why are they trading a pro bowl starting Quarterback? We'd have a better chance of Brady saying, why waste a #1 on a QB, when you can get one in the sixth round. The Jets can offer something better than a pro bowl starting Quarterback?
Yeah...and to extend that what if...they could draft a pass rusher at 3 to put across from Maxx Crosby...something they have been trying to do for years. The only way the raiders make a trade with us if is they really like Kyler and think he can be a top 10 QB for them. I doubt that's the case...but it's not impossible. They aren't trading out of #1 without another plan at QB. We offer them a trade down of only 2 spots..and probably the best available veteran QB. If they get a new coach who says..."I can create a dominate offense with Kyler Murray"...then taking #3 plus our 2027 first makes a ton of sense for them
That being said....if that happens, maybe the Cardinals should just hire that coach instead
Yeah…I’m not demanding a top 5 OL but no RB is going to be successful with a bottom 10 unit. But a good RB makes an OL look better too. They don't have to hold their blocks as long, RB has vision to see the holes, etc.
They have said the same things about several OT prospects. In fact, similar comments were thrown around about Wirfs. He is a OT from day 1. The only way he moves to OG is if he fails at OTI've read that he may be a guard at the Nfl level. I don't want to draft a right tackle let alone a guard at the #3 pick.
Dominant, not dominate :BIM:My simple question is there a absolute dominate player that will be available at 3 so far Love or maybe Reese and Downs are the only ones Simply sucks to be the Cards this year not only a rather crappy draft class with draft position but a coaching decision also the old saying applies Same Ole Cards
wasn't NE's top pick last year supposed to have short arms and maybe become a guard? He started 13 games at LT for arguably the best team in the AFC.They have said the same things about several OT prospects. In fact, similar comments were thrown around about Wirfs. He is a OT from day 1. The only way he moves to OG is if he fails at OT
Agree, if Brady wasn’t in the mix we might have a shot at trading KM to the Raiders. I think Lloyd Christmas will absolutely listen to Brady when it comes to QB pick especially with the #1 pickare you a part of Raider Nation?? I have been since 1976,...and a very large portion of these guys have a man crush on Kyler.... I was just wondering if that fascination might over rule the sense of getting a solid pocket QB....
Thing is, fans dont matter...at one point Baby Bowl Cut was the one to convince...but now Im afraid its Tom Brady.... I see no way to convince Brady to pass on Mendoza
