If Kyler really was hurt in the 2nd half they should have put in Jacoby. They implied they ran on 3rd and 8 because of the injury.

That is on the coaching staff. They brought in an experienced back up that worked with Petzing before exactly for these situations. Kyler is a mobile QB. If he isn't mobile, then that limits the biggest part of his game.

I think the Cardinals are moving on from Kyler Murray. IMO, Jacoby Brissett better fits their system.

It would be grossly unfair to tie Gannon to Kyler... Gannon inherited this mess. I would think Mike B would give JG the chance to source a new QBOF... though, I have no idea how that will happen as the Cards won't have a top 5 pick, unless of course they start Kyler the rest of the way!

Its just a guess, but they've been pretty tight lipped about Kyler and his injury, maintaining that he's the starter. Then an hour after the trade deadline Gannon reveals that Kyler might need 2 months to recover and that Jacoby would be the starter even if Kyler was healthy.

They've basically said they're moving on from Kyler, I would hope they tried to trade him if that is their decision.

I know its a guess. Its been widely reported that moving him in season would be very difficult due to his contract and the space a team needs right now. So, as a guess, its silly since all reports have been moving on in the off season. When is the last time a major QB was traded in season?
