Or would this be to similar to the Edge situation when he became a FA?
Ftfy!As a fan, I would be excited to have LT. Probably doesn't make financial sense though.
Nope. Dude is soft and quit on his team the past two seasons.
He's gone from potential "top three all-time" to potential retread in just a few seasons.
Will San Diego really let him go?
Based on the LT of last season and the Fargas of last season, my choice would be Fargas. Both are high character guys. LT was the best RB of his time. Neither is a FA yet.

Not as a serious inquiry. This is the second year he's had leg issues and the groin is a tricky group of muscles.

We may already have that in Hightower?Emmitt Smith, Edgerrin James, LaDanian Tomlinson. Personally, I'd rather take a chance looking for the next HoFer via the draft instead of taking the shoe-ins in the twighlight of their career.

Hey, he has a chance of being the next HoFer. He was looking A LOT like Barry Sanders. Dance at the line looking for the big play, but only manage a yard or so. Only difference is Sanders can make the big play. The new backs coach was the KC Chiefs guy when Larry Johnson was running for 1.7k yards a season, so let's hope that translates. We may already have that in Hightower?![]()
Good post. But IMO, Lt has more left in the tank that either Emmitt or Edge when they came here. I'd love to see the cards go after him for a couple or years, just like I'd love to see the cards go after Tony Gonzales.
