I would like one (preferably 2) RB's who weigh 220+ lbs, can move the pile between the tackles, are reliable in short yardage situations and are relatively healthy. If either or both have breakaway potential, even better.
I don't care if it's LT, a rookie, another FA (like Fred Taylor) or even Edge. I don't care if they're 21, 25 or 32 years old (the average shelf life of an NFL RB is only 4 - 6 years anyway).
Just so long as they can get the job done.
It will no doubt all boil down to (a) who's out there in free agency? (b) do they love us? (c) does Edge still love us? (d) do we still love Edge? (e) how much money do they want? (f) how much money are we willing to pay? and (g) is there anyone available in the Draft (either at #31, another round or via an upward trade)?
