In his latest minor league start, left-handed pitcher Kade Anderson picked up his tenth win of the 2026 season. The former LSU baseball star posted 5.1 scoreless innings on Friday in start No. 17. He represents the Arkansas Travelers, Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
Against the Amarillo Sod Poodles, affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Anderson allowed just three hits and no walks. The southpaw struck out nine, adding to his season total of 128 strikeouts. The Travelers won the game 4-0 as their bullpen slammed the door after Anderson's strong start.
Anderson ranks No. 1 among all Texas League pitchers with a 1.13 ERA, 128 strikeouts and 0.65 WHIP. Opposing teams are batting a league-low .150 against him. It remains to be seen if the Mariners will call Anderson up to make his MLB debut before the end of the regular season.
The accolades continue rolling in for Anderson. He was recently named the top prospect in all of baseball by The Athletic and started for the American League in the All-Star Futures Game in July.
