Hot shooting leads SDSU women past North Dakota

BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — The SDSU women shot 54% from the field Thursday as they rolled past North Dakota 94-48.

The Jackrabbits played a close first quarter, leading 17-16 after the first ten minutes.

SDSU would find their stride in the second. They shot 60% from the field and scored 26 points, while hold the Fighting Hawks to just six.

The Jacks would continue to build the lead throughout the game. They scored an impressive 33 points in the fourth quarter to roll on for a 54 point win.

13 players scored for the Jackrabbits on Thursday, including three in double figures. Brooklyn Meyer led all scorers with 21 points. Madison Mathiowetz and Maggie Hartwig each added 11.

SDSU will host Kansas City on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m.
