i was the happiest hippie on this website when we got a offensive mind from within this division - not only that but when we have love mcbride wilson and marv - gtfoh

i hated knowing what petzing was running - the down/situation and formation told you everything - granted we were limited but damm - i still don't know how brissett survived

now we got lafleur who is all about timing coinciding with the route tree - but he operates out of the same honda accord formations - i say honda accord because they're everywhere and you can't tell any of them apart - this is viagra for me

no tipping of the hat - maybe a last second man in motion to seal a block or draw a defender but you're not gonna know what we're running until it's running

far as roles go everybody knows and everybody's happy - marv wants to be outside - wilson inside - mcbride wants the world - they all wanted brissett

my head shakes like skattebo when i think about lafleur and his weaponry - if lafleur is the tricky bastard i suspect him to be our offense is going to be intense

one thing that will be interesting - is once we're out of contention will lafleur still play to win or start on development? (stay with brissett or switch to beck)

that's gonna be tough for a rookie head coach imo but i see it as a foregone conclusion - i think monti sees it that way as well - thus the 1 year contract

but for now my red feathered friends - i say enjoy this offense - and if you have any karma miles saved up or are in good favor with the man upstairs pray for our defense

Watching Shanahan and McVay offenses -- it always seemed that they could get their QBs 4-6 easy completions for 10+ yards a game... and not just vs the recent Cardinal defenses

it would be nice to see MLF create that for the Cards. Many times last year it would seem everything was difficult -- even when the Card QB would go 5/7 passing in a stretch, it felt like 4 of those completions were contested.

I think the offense is going to be fun to watch, both preseason games they scored points, enjoyable for a preseason game. Every team in our division plays a similar offense, we'll see how creative MLF can be to keep DC on their toes. We have weapons, Petzing just didn't know how to use them, I don't think that will be the case with MLF.

I see it like this, we probably will lose 4 games in our division, possibly 2 against the Rams and Hawks, but I think we might beat the 49ers both games. That's 4 losses but outside of that I only expect maybe three more and honestly I think we could theoretically split those games with both the Rams and Hawks. If we do that we might be more like 12 and 5 ish? This is just based on Mike LaFleur, not the same old Cardinals stuff.

In the coming years I think people will want to play under this HC and MLF will attract a solid D coordinator and the right players to compliment our high powered offense. Hopefully MO is up to the task as well to get aggressive.

such a Mike B thing to:

Hit big with a really good offensive mind the produces an offense that is playoff worthy.......

only to be dragged down by a terrible defense coached by the D coordinator you forced on said offensive coach.

I’m not channeling my inner K9, I promise. But is this based on a general feeling of Mike B and his propensity to crap the bed or is this something we know for a fact?

Just wondering which way my in season rage needs to be channeled.

so you’re thinking, running the table on non-divisional games?
