Arizona Wildcats forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is heading to the NBA, multiple sources told ESPN on Wednesday, though the sophomore says publicly that he has yet to make a firm decision.

The news was first reported by Scout.com.

The 6-foot-7 Hollis-Jefferson is considered a late first-rounder by several NBA executives.

He averaged 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds and is considered a first-rate defender.

Hollis-Jefferson said via Twitter he still has conversations to hold before declaring.

stupid... he'll be a late first rounder, could come back, work on his game, be the man on the team next year and possibly build himself into a high lotto pick.

His offensive game seems to have very low ceiling like MKG. Not sure he can improve his stock too much. But damn if he came back with Tarc they'd be preseason top-3 for sure.

Trier and Kadeem can handle the ball and score. York's a gunner and Tarc/Anderson/Ristic is a huge frontcourt rotation. Only thing seems to be missing is that freak athlete at SF. Ray Smith is obviously not a Rondae-caliber defender and he's coming off a significant knee injury.

I suspect like Looney's facial fracture, that near knee injury to Rondae in the postseason scared the crap out of him so he's likely gone.

If he's a sure-fire first-round pick, he should leave. He can work on his game while getting paid and not having any academic responsibility.

Rondae has just as much of a chance devaluing himself as he does increasing his draft stock; and it all goes down the drain if he suffers a significant injury.
