Former Arizona Cardinals draft pick and wide receiver Rondale has died, per multiple reports. The 25-year-old former second-round pick of the Cardinals was found dead in southern Indiana. Per the New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey, Moore was found dead in a garage from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound.
It is tragic.
Moore was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round in 2021. He played three seasons for them, catching 135 passes for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns in 39 games.
He was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2024 for quarterback Desmond Ridder, but hasn't played a game since. He injured his knee in training camp and missed the season. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings last offseason and then suffered a season-ending knee injury in the preseason.
He was set to be a free agent for the second straight year.
He played collegiately at Purdue. His former college head coach, Jeff Brohm, now at Louisville, released this statement.
Some former Cardinals teammates reacted to the news.
One was J.J. Watt, who played for the Cardinals in 2021 and 2022.
Former Cardinals receiver Hollywood Brown shared that he had just been in contact with Moore.

Can’t even begin to fathom or process this.
There’s just no way.
Way too soon.
Way too special.
So much left to give.
Rest in Peace Rondale.
