Two South Shore Little League teams are close to reaching the next step in their journeys to the Little League World Series.
Bridgewater will play at Hingham in the Massachusetts Section 2 championship game at Carlson Field on Sunday, July 26.
The teams competed in the Section 2 tournament during the week after advancing from their district tournaments earlier this month. Originally scheduled for Saturday, July 25, the title game was pushed back a day after postponements from Wednesday’s rain out.
