Somebody on the other Cardinals message board posted this question. Who would you rather have Emmitt 2 years 7-8 million or S. Davis 5 years 15.5 million?

It doesn't matter. The Davis contract is a joke (look at Len Pasquarelli's breakdown in last Friday's Tip Sheet). He gets all that money if he rushes for 1500 yds (which he's never done), is MVP or Off. Player of the Year, and the Panthers go to the Super Bowl.

If Emmitt's contract is like that, it's a great thing for the Cards, because they protect their investment with impossible incentives.

No he gets the 5 years, 15 million no matter what he does. The incentives in the contract push it up to around 30 million if he reaches those ridiculous incentives that you posted (I agree there is no way he reaches any of those incentives).

Emmit no question.. Why would we need Davis for 5 years when we just signed Shipp to 4 more? Emmit teaches his game to Shipp and give us some options on O.
