7.5 wins is about right based on what we did last season and all the free agent losses. Hope it gives the players some motivation.

Yeah, for the most part I think that is not that far off for most teams.

I would say 8.5 for the Cards and 9.5 for the Seahawks though.

Unfortunately I think the cards only chance at the playoffs is going to be winning the division, because the NFC is really quite stacked.

Isn't the over / under set to entice bets on both sides like they do everything else? This is more a public perception of the Cards and not Vegas.

I'm putting everything in, just like Chuck Rhodes and his father did last night on Billions!

Raiders/Cowboys/Texans sounds like an enticing parlay.

Jnless thig s have changed you can't parlay prop bets.... living here i haven't heard of any changes

Bet your mortgage, first born, and two years salary on the over.
I thought that last year and almost there a lot down, glad I didn't

I won $214 ....just cashed in my ticket. Bet the Browns under 4. EZ money

I love the Cards, but betting them over 7.5 ...is risky. Cards lost Campbell, Floyd and Jefferson. ..and who'd we get. I think too many of ya are betting with your heart.

Easiest bet on there is Seattle at 10.5. They'd have to win 11 games....and for a team that's good, but still no o line and Wilson just had a kid, he won't be sleeping or focusing like he once did...I'm not knocking him but any of you who remember when your kids were just born can attest to the fact that your life was immediately changed and your time was no longer your time...and sleep was never the same. Bet the under and take your win.

Other bets are Dolphins at 7.5...they won 11 last year and look good

Chiefs at 9 ...again they won a bunch and got better bet the over

Raiders at 9.5 ....they're prime...won more than that last year and added players...bet the over

Dallas 9.5....this seems like an easy one seeing they won more than that last year...they're a scary bet. I don't like rookies who blow it up their first year...meaning play outstanding. They often stink the next year...i.e. Todd Gurley who didn't even have a 100 yard game last season. Imagine if that had been a bet 'Will Todd Gurley have any 100 yard games?' Yea, you would have be and lost the house. Rookies who do great their first year often don't put the work in they did the year prior. I wouldn't touch this bet.

Cleveland 4 ...this one is a tricky one too, but I'd bet the over. With the great O line they have and added Brock at QB and some great players through the draft...they'll have a shot at beating this....thinking 5-6 wins max. If the bet drops to 3.5 I'll take it.

Loads of Free Agent losses... More miles on the treads of Fitz and Palmer... Question Marks regarding Smoke and his Sickle-Cell issue. Who will truly step up as a legit #2 WR??? Honey Badger and David Johnson coming back from injury. No legit #2 Corner. A Left Tackle who hasn't played the position much in the NFL. No real solution for Right Guard.
Yea... 7.5 sounds about right. But I really like our chances to hit the over!

Do you get .5 wins for a tie? That would have matched last year's W/L. lol

This oughta ruffle some feathers. Hate to say it but vegas is usually pretty close with these things.

What say you?

With this type of bet, Vegas is predicting what gamblers will bet on. They try and keep these bets close to 50/50 on either side so they can just cash in on the "vig" or fee that is included in the bet. If too many people bet on the under they will lower it till more people start to bet the over.

So it really has nothing to do with how Vegas thinks the Cardinals will do and everything to do with what Vegas thinks the Gamblers will bet on.

Me too. Also on 15-1 odds to be NFC champ and 35-1 odds to win the big game

Wow, I'd think NFC champ odds would be higher, given the record prediction.
