No. We’re bad but not top-3 bad. Unless McBride or other studs are injured or something.
So to get a top collegiate qb we would have to trade up. I doubt Monti will do that. So watch us draft a qb in the 4-5 th round.” He’s got all the tools but will need to sit a year”.

I think the 27’ QB class will be deep enough. I think we should load up OL this coming draft.

After three games, #7 is what he is and that is a top 10 QB on a cluster beep OL. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know about Brissett and the merry go round of his career but in the here and now you have your starting QB. Cardinals, do something right, draft the best tackle on the OL early for the next QB in the wings with a better class

agreed with 1 first round pick the best OL is probably the right pick. This draft is also pretty deep at Edge.

I’m 72 and have followed this team since the early 60’s , although don’t ask me why. If we draft a qb in 2026, it’s going to be rough. Then maybe by 2027 we could compete.
Get a qb in 2026 AND build the team . It can be done.

Why let Gannon pick the new quarterback if we are just gonna fire him next year? Assuming we have another losing season…bidwill needs to fire Gannon..get an offensive minded coach and let him pick the quarterback….wonder if we trade for a guy like will levis as a reclamation project?

Yeah, the whole punting until 2027 so we can MAYBE be good by 2028 makes no sense to me.

Agree..I'm with you in that it's past time to **** the bullshyte and win right gawddamm now...

Regardless of all the wanna be special talking heads and semi "news" reporters out there and their need for controversy and clicks there are several QB's in the 26 draft that can have strong NFL careers.
It's just important to match the kid with the situation...
And for us, a bit of praying in regards to Isreal Woodford...got no idea what kind of QB coach he is... did he help screw up kyler or was kyler ignoring him??
The biggest gamble for us isn't Mendoza vs Allar vs Sellers... it's can Woolfork actually develop whoever we draft.

If I were Mike... I would go get my QB, then also go get a Jordan Palmer...on team contract...to teach the kid all the things staff coaches don't have time to teach due to NFLPA restrictions...and as insurance in case Woodford suxx azz

Legitimately don’t know where we would go with the first pick.

I think we’ll win two more games & that will take us out of the top 10 completely.

QB is the obvious need, but teams will have to want to trade back as well. It’s east just saying to trade up.

We might be out of Fano territory. OT class is eh to begin with.

EDGE class is meh. Same goes for iDL.

WR class is really good, but I can’t see us drafting one in the first round.

There’s a real possibility Jeremiyah Love could be our first pick. Only reason I lean not is because Monti has been drafting premium positions in the first.

Opposed to the choice of available reclamation. Low odds! Like the idea of an offensive coach.

The problem with this wait until ‘27 is there really is no guarantee that pool will be better or that the Cards will be near the top. 27 is a tough year anyway due to expiring contracts. I’m good with one of the top 3 guys and spending what it costs to get one. Only those guys could start at least part of 2026. Then you could make contract decisions, hopefully with the QB you want. The only outside shot I’d take is Manning if he declared.

not gonna a lie - i thought shoulder or collar bone when lloyd launched on brissett - then i thought whoa... top 3 pick

but im ecstatic that's not the case - he's the only reason im still watching lol

im guessing jacoby brissett will be our starting qb in 2026 (clarification: im not saying he's a starting quarterback)

im guessing we do everything we can to fix our o-line and see what we look like with some healthy runningbacks- that offense won't win the division but could tell us what qb to draft in 2027

might be able to get that data in time for this 2026 draft tho - it's not just about how good the qb but also if they fit your system

everybody from kurt warner to brady to baker have all recently said they sucked ass when they didn't get to play their way in their system - they all sucked - but let them do what they're naturally designed to do and it's lightning meet bottle

so... im still all about drafting o-line especially if petzing is gone and we'll be switching offensive identities - offensive linemen don't have to be taylor fitted to a certain scheme like qbs

but if there's a qb who checks all the boxes do everything you can to move up and get him because **** this ****

agents for QBs who are eligible do that same analysis

I think a couple guys who are eligible will come out this year

specifically -- the agent for Dante Moore of Oregon is going to tell him he has a good shot to go #1 overall

Lame duck GM. Lame duck HC. Lame everything.
Punt the HC and GM (I wish we could punt the owner too), hire a football guy to be team president, get in a decent GM and coaching staff, get your QBOF, fix the big roster holes, and let's get this thing going. Sounds easy, right?

that is my official plan.

Mike needs to find somebody who has a name / experience / etc that the rest of the NFL is going to respect. Somebody who everyone else in the NFL would know wouldn't work for Mike B unless Mike gave that person what he needed to be successful.

Everything else flows from there.

The issue is that regardless of the scenario, you likely aren't getting your franchise QB in 2026.

I agree about loading up on offensive lineman, but I want the Cardinals to draft a quarterback somewhere in the draft, even if it is late.

I keep hearing this 2027 stuff. Guys I talk to tell me after Manning (who still is a long shot to come out) and Sayin, there are no sure things. Just a lot of maybes at this point. Who are you all excited about?
