Teams that end the season with the same record have the higher pick go to the team playing the softer schedule. Since the Cards faced an exceptionally hard schedule only maybe the Raiders and/or Giants would receive worse positioning due to strength of schedule. Everyone else is nowhere nearly that strong. Right now they are ranked 11th. Several teams ahead of them play each other so it’s possible the Cards move up a little.

Good site to get the right order but doesn’t show SOS.

If they had us going OT in rd 1 instead of DT i would be okay with giving Nussmeier a shot in round 2

we may be in for rosen 2.0 no matter what year we draft - i want to fix the line first
Unpopular opinion, the line isn't that far off. You only need to upgrade two spot immediately.

Also, a better offense (play calling and scheme) will help as well. Remember the running game was elite last year.

Interesting guy. Look at last year’s tape. He’s played badly hurt almost all year. Likely wouldn’t start early.
No, he just sucks. He fell apart against Texas A&M in the 2nd half LAST YEAR & hasn’t bounced back since. He sucks.

I honestly think I'd rather go OL round 1 & round 2. Maybe give the kid from A State a shot in round 3. At least he'd help build back local sentiment and butts in seats.

Sounds like some of the mentality is if we can't win the super bowl, we should just be losing games for draft position. I don't agree with that. Winning is a culture and should be coveted. Play hard and win all the games we can and let next season's roster be decided in the offseason where it should.

Too bad it’s a bad team with a killer schedule. Nice theory though.

I agree, we need a Tackle and guard early in this draft. Would also be OK with Tate or Tyson at WR. Bring back Brissett. snag a QB in the middle of the draft, there are a lot od solid prospects in the middle of the draft for QB.

this won't be popular at all but draft o-line in the first round this year - suck again in 2026 with the new staff installing it's new team identity - see what qbs are available in 2027
Most o-lines in the league are not loaded with first or even second round talent.

Harry, what about UCONN QB Fagnano!
Could be had in the 3rd or 4th and would be worth couching up for a year.

I agree to draft OT in the 1st and OG in the 2nd.

the thing with Nussmeier:

if he throws at the combine like he did last year and his medicals check out -- he isnt making it to round 2

Maybe you trade back a bit in round 1, but if you really think he is the guy, you take him

JJ McCarthy and Bo Nix came out of nowhere to be top 15 picks. The league is so QB needy and the contract price of a 1st round pick is low enough that teams are grabbing their guy in round 1
