Keith Law of The Athletic released a midseason Top 50 prospect update, which contains six Los Angeles Dodgers hopefuls.
While no Dodgers rank within the Top 10, five of the six Dodgers prospects included in the list place within the Top 25—including three players who missed the Top 50 altogether in Law’s preseason ranking.
Edgardo Quintero, No. 11
Edgardo Quintero is the highest ranked Dodger on Law’s list, and just misses out on a Top 10 spot. He began the year in High-A after coming up towards the end of the 2025 season, and has serviceable numbers through his 37 games so far.
He has two homers and 17 RBIs so far this season, posting. .721 OPS. While this is marginally worse than the five homers and .824 OPS he had in 32 games in High-A last season, Law still believes the 20-year-old has a bright future.
“A slow start on paper for Quintero isn’t reflective of how he’s played; he’s at .265/.379/.360 in his return to High A — slightly below what he did at the same level in 32 games last year — but he’s still making excellent swing decisions and hitting the ball hard enough to stick with a forecast of future 55-60 power,” Law wrote.
Josue De Paula, No. 13
After a poor start in Double-A last season, Josue De Paula returned to Tulsa following a strong spring training and began hitting how everyone expected him to. He has a .899 OPS through 43 games this season, hitting six homers and driving in 40 runs in the process.
MLB ranks the 6-foot-3 21-year-old as the Dodgers’ top prospect, and odds are he’ll be on the way up to Triple-A sooner rather than later is he continues swinging as he has so far in Double-A.

Mike Sirota, No. 18
Mike Sirota, the return for the Dodgers’ trade of Gavin Lux two off-season ago, missed most of last season with a knee injury, but that hasn’t kept him from tearing up both High-A and Double-A in 2026.
Sirota began the season with High-A Great Lakes, where he posted a 1.080 OPS through 35 games. He made the move to Double-A midway through May, and is batting .304 with an .883 OPS through six games so far. Sirota sat at No. 51 in Law’s last prospect ranking.
River Ryan, No. 19
River Ryan is a surprising name to see on a prospects list, seeing as how he made his MLB debut in 2024, but has missed the last couple of seasons with injury and still has his rookie eligibility.
Ryan is extremely likely to return to the Dodgers by the end of the year, and has given the Dodgers a reason to pull him up through four starts in Triple-A. He has a 2.81 ERA through 16 innings pitched, and has struck out 21 batters as well. In Law’s last prospect ranking, Ryan was a few places behind Sirota at No. 55.
James Tibbs III, No. 24
James Tibbs III is another unexpected name for Law’s list, seeing as he didn’t even feature in the preseason ranking, but it’s no wonder he’s here considering his start to the season. Tibbs had two multi-homer games in Triple-A Oklahoma City’s first eight games of the season, as well as seven total.
He’s since slowed down, but that’s not to say he’s been bad. Tibbs still has a 1.004 OPS with 12 homers—tied for fourth in the PCL—and 38 RBIs.
Zyhir Hope, No. 28
Zyhir Hope had a cup of tea in Double-A last season, playing in six games and recording as many hits, and has been even better in a larger sample size this season. He has nine homers already this season through 43 games, as well as a .810 OPS—his highest at any level since playing 54 games in Single-A in 2024.
