The Avalanche dropped Game 1 at home to the Vegas Golden Knights. They’ll have to bounce back in Game 2 to make this a series before it shifts to T-Mobile Arena.
They’re not panicking after one game. And they shouldn’t be. This is a team that time and time again has found ways to respond when they have nights like this. But given the Cale Makar injury, and no word yet on his status for Game 2, there is some adversity facing them.
It’ll be interesting to see how they respond.
As you would imagine, the Golden Knights were pretty confident with that game, and they expressed that sentiment postgame.
