Are the Colorado Avalanche in trouble? Game 2 went better than Game 1, at times, but ended with the same result. Can the Avs pull out of a two-game hole? If they do, Nathan MacKinnon and others will need to be much better.

The Avalanche blew a lead midway through the third period.
Ultimately, it happened because they couldn’t find a second goal. And that largely falls on the top stars of this team, who are still not executing.
The Golden Knights have had the right mindset, whether leading or trailing. The Avalanche? Not so much.
