For a guy that came in as a pitcher, got cut, worked fast food, worked on his hitting and landed in an Independent League to an all time D-Back is one of the best stories ever!

100%. But to get this little for him they should have traded him last year.
Disagree. Good trade both ways. Dbacks lose two months of Peralta for a 19 year old Catcher they tried to sign from the international pool in a position that the system is weak.

A 35-year old 2 month rental isn’t going to get much

Correct that is why his value was at its highest 1-2 years ago
