Newly hired Colorado athletic director Fernando Lovo made his first significant move as AD earlier this week when he signed women's basketball coach JR Payne to a contract extension.

Now Lovo is out to find new revenue streams for Colorado's athletic department, and perhaps that could start with a certain brand's jersey patch.

After Arkansas recently announced a deal with Tyson Foods to display a patch on its football jerseys, Buffalo Wild Wings asked Colorado whether it would be interested in partnering with the similarly named brand.

Lovo responded on X saying the "Colorado Buffaloes are always open for buisness."

While it's a far cry from any official deal, it does show Lovo's open-mindedness toward new branding deals, including selling jersey space.

A deal with Buffalo Wild Wings would seem like a worthwhile partnership for Colorado, given their sports-bar atmosphere and obvious ties to buffaloes, including a very similar logo.
