Ugh would have preferred to keep him, maybe this signals Nolen is in better shape than we think. Losing Tomlinson makes us even weaker against the run.

Predicted this in my earlier post. He’s still decent against the run, but I think they expected him to collapse a few pockets.

Darius Robinson, Dante Stills, Zach Carter are Walter Nolen all the only DL under contract right now.

Carter 49 out of 68 games played
Stills 48 out of 51 games played
Robinson 21 out of 34 games played
Nolan 6 out of 17 games played

Monti really killing it with the free agent signings. How many of his signings has he released this season?
I’ll give him this- at least he’s willing to cut bait if they aren’t producing. Keim was terrible with that.

I agree tho- montis team needs to start producing some caliber players or he needs to start packing.

Pittsburgh, PA--Enemy territory!

I hadn't seen it yet. Surprising, I think... but also we've really whiffed in FA outside of Sweat.
Really stupid move. WTF are we doing at DT? I mean, they contacted my agent but I'd rather stick with the VA than downgrade my employer.

People are like “cutting Dalvin opens up 9 mil” but don’t realize Monti is just going to replace him with a newer version of Bilal Nichols. At least Dalvin played and stayed healthy which made him one of Monti’s better FA signings.
Him, Sweat and CC were the only players to start and play in all 17 games on defense. Now have to replace 34 games started instead of 17 on the DL.

Now that's a millennial take. Or Gen x whatever they are. Study our past and get back to me
You say “our” like it’s true.

I don’t give a flying fig about what was before 1988.

Graves was better and Keim was for sure better so far.

MO is the author of the never ending rebuild in a league where teams can turn it around in a year.
