Call of Duty 4

CoD5 officially announced as Call of Duty: World at War. Its a return to WWII (pacific theater), and will be done by Treyarch (CoD3) rather than Infinity Ward (CoD1,2,4) although it runs on the same engine as CoD4. Consider me underwhelmed. 4 player co-op through Xbox Live sounds cool though.

Treyarch's efforts have sucked in the past, I may skip it all together.


Im back on modern warfare, my buddy lesft the army and brought his ps3 and I am addicted once again. Bought the map pack last night, only got to play broadcast and chinatown, chinatown is cool but broadcast is effing sick, worth my 10 bucks all on its own.

Went 39-6 in a mercenary team deathmatch last night.

4 player co-op is interesting. I have wished there was a better Pacific WW2 game than there was. This should have been COD4, and the modern COD5 and beyond though. Going back seems to be counter-intuitive.

Oh, and I didn't get as much out of double XP weekend as I wanted to.

I did pass level 55 after a total of 2 matches. I played search and destroy and went 17-3 one round, and 15-4 another, with a few diffusing/planting sprinkled in. two 2500 hundred matches and a 1000 point for leveling up my P90 and I was done. It was awesome.

17 kills in search and destroy? thats like 3 kills per round, crazy.

It went a full 7 rounds, and 2 rounds, I got an airstrike. I was on a roll.

airstrike requires 5 kills in one single round right? so its basically useless cuz only 1 guy is still alive...can u carry it to next round?

Yes you can carry them over...

Yep, carry over. It was great, I was on the ambush map I think it was, and I got 3 kills from the airstrike to start the match.

For those of you that are still playing and have played for several months...

Have you noticed any changes to game play? It seems the mounted guns aren't as leathal any more. There were a few more things but I can't remember them right now....

I havent noticed any difference in turrets, still lethal as hell but you are a sitting duck.

dissapointed, will probably still play cod4. I much prefer modern vs ww2 and dont like treyarchs previous COD titles.

I still have a problem where I can't connect to the host and have to backout and come back in. By the time I got back in that room you were out.

I tried to get into your FFAs but the room was always full.

I was surprised when I got killed by you the 1st time. I had to check my friends list to see if it was you.

And 1-0 in TDM vs DCR teams. Scoreboard.

I like using those little guns. Especially with the sleight of hand perk. It reloads crazy fast.

I only use sleight of hand with the scorpion or mac10. Other than that, the class that you listed above is a perfect search and destroy class.

i never play search and destroy but love it, that p90 is ruthless.

I prefer assauly rifles but I go 30-5 over and over with them and max them out in a few games and have to switch it up.
