all these people commenting "millions this millions that" are forgetting basic human nature. The fact that these guys are making millions quickly falls to the wayside once you settle into that lifestyle.

Budda deserves an extension and raise relative to his peers. That is why he feels disrespected - having millions doesn't change that.
Not the time, yet.

No he doesn’t. He was grossly overpaid 2 years ago when he was given the richest safety contract in NFL history. He is certainly not due a raise only 2 years into it and 2 years remaining. No.

None of this is guaranteed. The cards could guarantee it tomorrow tho…
Well half of it basically is, because he is not getting cut. They want him on the team, and going into his last year, I would agree he is due a new contract if the team deems he is part of the future. If he is cut or traded next year then he gets his opportunity for a new contract. It's just not the right time. IMO

The money is the money. That is the going rate. A new regime has come in, chosen to not be competitive in one of the few years he has left in his prime, and said he isn’t important enough to extend or restructure. He is the best player on the team. He is being disrespected.

That doesnt mean it would be smart to extend him but it is disrespect.

Grossly overpaid? Not even close. Was it smart to spend big money on a safety? You can argue that but not that he was overpaid.

Sure I can he wasn’t even the best safety in football he still isn’t. And to make him the highest paid in NFL history like he was an Ed Reed type impact player? It is absolutely debatable. Just because you say it isn’t doesnt just make it so.

This was a direct quote from you yourself when he signed the contract extension:

Two years and this looks like a discount.

So now today exactly two year later it’s not a discount anymore because you think he should be compensated even higher. And given a raise already with two years left. You’re literally talking out of both sides of your mouth. So which is it. Is it discount now that we should accept or should we overpay him again?

You also said this:

“everyone will agree that he is not the best S in the NFL so making him the highest paid is overpaying.”

Granted you said that you felt it had to get done being on Kylers rookie deal we have to take our shot. But again it just shows you wanting to give him a raise now when he’s the same player. Isn’t the best safety in football still. And Kyler is no longer on A rookie deal.

Man, I find it unbelievable that you ever sided with a player(Boldin) over an organization before, lol.

I trashed the organization when they signed him to this contract two years ago. And I will trash them again if they give in to his demands.
I seem to remember you trashing Budda & talking about how flawed & overrated he was more than anything.

Exactly. He was overpaid as the best safety, he had no problem with that. The next 2 years are the counterbalance to that for the team. Not even that, he's paid perfectly fairly.

Budda starting to sound like that needy friend of your wife that's always posting needy messages on Facebook crazing attention.
