Everyone says he is cooked and yet his stats in 2025 were very similar to Kyle Hamilton's. Ints. PDs. Tackles. TFLs. Comp % against. QB rating against. Missed tackles %. All pretty close.

Are you implying that stats can be misleading? We all saw him play last year.

I am saying that maybe the gap between perceived good and perceived bad is smaller than what most people on here think it is OR maybe people on this board don't have all of the info to properly evaluate safeties.

Basically, if Budda Baker is statistically close to Kyle Hamilton in those aforementioned catagories, maybe Kyle Hamilton isn't that great or Budda isn't that bad.

Personally, I don't see how your roster gets better with the 5 mil you get from just cutting him.

I saw how Monti used the money from cutting Hopkins and I wasn't impressed. Just keep the talent at that point.
