We are in the third week of the offseason revelations of the "NFL Top 100 Players of 2026." In the first two weeks, there were no Arizona Cardinals. This week, as players No. 80-71 are being revealed, for the second day in a row there is an Arizona Cardinals player.
Pass rusher Josh Sweat was No. 78. Safety Budda Baker is No. 75.
It is the seventh consecutive season he is in the top 100. Last season, he was No. 34.
In 2025, he was a Pro Bowler for the eighth time in his career and for the seventh straight season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers tackle Tristan Wirfs called Baker "a little missile."
"He just smacks people," he said. "Budda kind of hits like a truck."
Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba said, "his motor is something I really haven't seen before," and compared him to Troy Polamalu.
LA Rams safety Quentin Lake said, "Budda has to be bigger than he is, right? The way he plays, he has to be bigger."
Cardinals tight end Trey McBride said that Baker "plays like he's the biggest and he plays like he's the strongest."
"He has no fear," Lake said.
Baker now enters his 10th NFL season and is already one of the Cardinals' greats of all time.
