I don't get the accuracy issues either. I played more baseball than football, but I was a 2nd string QB freshman year just because I could throw. It's pretty much ingrained in your head when you throw the ball where it's going. The only thing that makes any sense is timing with the recievers.Yeah but that is not comforting for me either.
I was really hoping Beck would show that he is the guy from day 1.
We are already hearing Beck has accuracy issues.
It is peanuts...and beer, hotdogs, nachos....all concession sales and loss of ticket sales would be a lot more than the extra 14 million to JB. It's a businessThe Cards are a joke. Unwarranted. I don’t care what y’all say. I don’t care if some say it’s “peanuts”. His 1 win and garbage time stats does not warrant this pay.
Says who? Reality says otherwise. 1-11.Why would anyone complain about this deal? It's for 1 year and has zero effect on the cap moving forward. He, by far, gives the Cards their best chance to win. That's all you can ask for. I don't get how anyone would want Beck under center to start the season over Brissett.
You can make all the predictions you want but they're meaningless until they start playing games. Like I mentioned earlier, how many wins were the Seahawks with Sam Darnold and Pats predicted to win last year? The Cards trade with Houston looked good at the time because everyone had the Texans winning 2-3 games then were watching them in the playoffs and the Cards top 3 pick was now late 20's. What if Jacoby puts up better numbers to last year with more weapons and the Cards defense is competent?
I'm not saying that will be the case but it's 100% the right move.
He's the lowest paid starting QB in the league for 1 year. What's the bitch about??????

I'd argue that penciling in a player as a starter that was 1-10 for you and then putting yourself in this position to where a player like that can ask for a raise hurts the team.I think that's not really a "rather" answer if both can clearly happen. My point is "what is giving Brissett a mild raise doing to hurt the team? What is the alternative?"
100%. I’m not say he isn’t better than Minshew and Beck but Brissett is a career backup for a reason. Just because he happens to be on a poorly run team with no real QB, doesn’t mean he deserves starter pay.The Cards are a joke. Unwarranted. I don’t care what y’all say. I don’t care if some say it’s “peanuts”. His 1 win and garbage time stats does not warrant this pay.
This was 100% the right move. But Brissett is going to really struggle to put up better counting stats than he did last season. Equivalent counting stats with greater efficiency and more contributions from the running game would make this a top 12-ish offense. Why would anyone complain about this deal? It's for 1 year and has zero effect on the cap moving forward. He, by far, gives the Cards their best chance to win. That's all you can ask for. But he is their starter. Hes being paid as the lowest starter in the league. Not an issue.100%. I’m not say he isn’t better than Minshew and Beck but Brissett is a career backup for a reason. Just because he happens to be on a poorly run team with no real QB, doesn’t mean he deserves starter pay.
It’s not your money. It will have no long term impact on our future. Why you mad, exactly? The Cards are a joke. Unwarranted. I don’t care what y’all say. I don’t care if some say it’s “peanuts”. His 1 win and garbage time stats does not warrant this pay.
Extra 9 millionIt is peanuts...and beer, hotdogs, nachos....all concession sales and loss of ticket sales would be a lot more than the extra 14 million to JB. It's a business![]()
These counting stats are fairly distorted by the fact that we couldn’t run the ball at all.For the 3 win only haters: "Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett finished last year tied for 14th in touchdowns (23), seventh in yards per game (240.4) and 14th in total yards (3,366)."
Brissett Sucks and no stats can prove otherwiseFor the 3 win only haters: "Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett finished last year tied for 14th in touchdowns (23), seventh in yards per game (240.4) and 14th in total yards (3,366)."
