Ok, I'm just a fan. Question for the "in the know" guys.
JB is now presumably QB1, Minshew is QB2. What does this mean for Beck? I don't see him going to the practice squad. Or does this mean JB and Beck are competing for QB1 and QB1.5?
Plenty of reps for Beck in the preseason.

You hope Beck can maybe become QB2 by the end of camp and make Minshew disposable. You don’t get any advantage from cutting Gardner (another coup of long-term planning and optionality from Lossenfort). Probably just carry three on the active roster

Carson Beck has had a lot of *big* misses early in camp. Like, 5+ yards off target. Something to keep an eye on.

Marvin Harrison Jr. went to the sideline again after a play and has been grimacing as he bends backward. Hard to tell what exactly is bothering him but he's been stretching and taking something for it. He's also spent some time in cobra pose.

The trainer just checked on him but that conversation didn't last long.

“I see why we paid him $50 million dollars.”

Jacoby Brissett on whether he's caught up to speed in Mike LaFleur's offense:"Oh, hell no. I think we just ran all Day 1 plays out there for me today. So I've got a long way to go. But I'm willing to put the work in."

PA I just have to ask, you're in PA with the steelers and eagles. Why the cardinals? I became a cards fan JUST because I live in Az. I just assume with those two teams to choose from you'd pick one or any one of the 29 other teams to pick from.
And I respect your dedication and I'm up there in age myself and don't have too many more NEXT years. I want it now.
I actually grew up in Syracuse, NY. Even though my Dad was also born in Syracuse, he became a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. While we were watching the Cardinals beat the Yankees in the 64 World Series, a commercial came on the TV about an upcoming Cardinals vs NYG football game that upcoming Sunday. When I saw that there was also a St. Louis Cardinals football team, I immediately had to be a fan. I had 7 sisters & no brothers, so my Dad & I did everything together. So needless to say, he became a football Cardinals fan that day too. It pained me then & still does that they moved to AZ, but I’ll die a Cardinals fan as long as that beautiful red bird remains on their helmet!

When you get to be my age, you find a way to enjoy every season. People forget that a year ago at this time, MANY were projecting a double digit win total. And if not for all the injuries, I still maintain we would have been close to that. I still believe that we have a ton of young talent, we have a potentially insane RB group, and if we can stay remotely healthy, our D under Rallis can be significantly better than people expect. And as much as I’ll always root for JG, I would always prefer an offensive minded HC. I admit that with our stout division, I may not have high expectations. But, even saying that, I have a ton of hope. We HAVE to avoid the kind of injuries we had last year. And even if the Cardinals are not in playoff contention, I’ll enjoy watching K1 tear it up in Minnesota. As a longtime Cardinals fan, I have learned that it’s always best to have a couple other teams to root for. For me, it’ll be the Vikings & EVERYONE who’s playing the Steelers lol.
I feel the same way, but my backup team is whoever is playing the Vikings.

this is what I saw last year from him

5-7 good throws in a row -- and then a couple horrific misses

My Mom & Dad had 5 of us in 7 years, so we’re still very close. Then they took a few years off to rest my Mom’s uterus before having 3 more lol. We had one bathroom in the house, so getting a shower with all them girls in the house on a Friday or Saturday night was near impossible lol. I remember my parents bought me a membership at the YMCA so I’d have somewhere to shower when we were in high school. Fun times!

Understood lol. I’ve despised the Steelers for decades now. The Raiders of the Madden era were always my 2nd favorite team. So after the Immaculate Reception by Franco Harris, my hatred for them just continued to grow. Then of course, the only SB the Cardinals will ever see, they lose to the team I hate more than any team in any sport UGH!!
