It'll be quite a day for science when frozen humans, or parts of humans, can be restored to living. That day ain't anytime soon. Like the article says, the brain is probably the worst organ to attempt this with since it's fat and will likely become mush once thawed. The thawing process is the whole key to Cryo and why it'll be way off into the future. There will need to be a major break through with stem cells, most likely, to thaw out flesh and retail the cellular structure.

And this doesn't even get into the spinal cord and how each nerve has to be attached to its exact match. Attaching a monkey head to a new body was done decades ago and while it survived and was somewhat coherent, it was still paralyzed.

This kind of science it still 100-200yrs into the future.

Whats the ethical issue? As long as theres consent by all parties (in this case, itd be the donor bodies consent. Just like registered organ donors), theres almost no situation I can think of where there would be any ethical obstacle.

Probably going to be easier just to slap a CPU in your cranium and attach it to the spinal cord. :)
