You inject it and put it in the oven for 5-10 minutes.

I think I am going to make this for Linda when she reaches her diet goal.

We made this for the Super Bowl. We used hot Italian sausage in the center then cooked it on the grill.

This should be called the "Homer Simpson".

And it looks awesome.

Is everything
The best way to serve this would be to put it on a stick like a corn dog and swirl it in a milkshake.

I want to go with Ryan's idea, coating it in tempura after done in the oven and deep frying for a few minutes.

That looks terrible. I eat boatloads of bacon and sausage. That looks absolutely disgusting.

Put a stick in it, dip it in batter and deep fry it and you've got the same thing I had at the fair last year.

Tempura? That is just wrong.

Should be a nice corn meal.

No way. One day I will.

I did make this last weekend. (Jon's recipe) Too much sausage/bacon ratio. We also needed to bake it for 10 minutes or so in the oven to cook the sausage better. I'm thinking of doing this again, but making another layer of weaved bacon on top before rolling so there would be more bacon. I ate mine with some maple syrup.
