After two games, the Dallas Renegades look like one of the top teams in the UFL.
Led by quarterback Austin Reed and receiver Tyler Vaughns, the Renegades came away with a dominant 31-15 win over the St. Louis Battlehawks on Tuesday night at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. Reed went 22-for-36 through the air for 240 yards, four passing touchdowns and an interception, while Vaughns caught 11 passes for 146 yards and three scores.
Reed and Vaughns wasted no time making an impact in the matchup, as they closed out Dallas' first drive with a 7-yard touchdown connection. The Renegades (2-0) used that opening drive to build momentum throughout the first half. By the end of the first half, Dallas held a 17-3 advantage over the Battlehawks. Reed threw his second touchdown pass of the night with 6:52 left in the second quarter when he found receiver Greg Ward Jr. for a 12-yard completion.

St. Louis (1-1) struggled to get anything going throughout the second half, scoring its only touchdown of the game with 8:04 left in the fourth quarter. Battlehawks quarterback Brandon Silvers connected with tight end Tyler Neville on that scoring play, following it up with a successful three-point conversion. Most of St. Louis' scoring came from kicker Tucker McCann, who went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts.
Meanwhile, Dallas' offense kept things rolling late in the game. Reed threw two more touchdown passes to Vaughns in the fourth quarter, finding the receiver for 8-yard and 30-yard scoring plays.
