The Arizona Cardinals don't have a great quarterback history. Perhaps no statistic shows it more than this possibility for the 2026 season.

Jacoby Brissett, who enters his second season with the Cardinals and has 12 starts with the team, has a real chance at making the franchise's top-10 list all-time for passing yards.

Currently 10th in franchise history is Josh McCown, who had 5,431 career passing yards with the Cardinals.

Brissett passed for 3,366 yards last season in 12 starts. He is in 17th place in franchise history.

He only needs 2,066 passing yards in 2026 to pass McCown.

Brissett is the presumed starter to begin the 2026 season. With just eight starts averaging 258.3 passing yards (less than his average last season), he would reach that.

He threw 23 touchdown passes last season. He is currently tied for 12th in franchise history with Steve Beuerlein with that total. He will move into 10th place with eight, passing Jim Hardy.

Imagine being a franchise where Brissett, in less than two season, is a top-10 quarterback in your history.

That's pretty bad.
