The Arizona Cardinals report to training camp on July 22 and begin the process of preparing for the regular season, forming the roster and determining starting jobs and roles on the team.
Leading up to the start of camp, we will take a look at every player on the offseason roster, their background, their contract, their play in 2025, questions they face and their roster outlook.
Here is receiver Simi Fehoko.
Fehoko returns to the Cardinals for a second season and enters his sixth NFL season. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Dallas Cowboys. He spent two seasons in Dallas and two with the Los Angeles Chargers before signing with the Cardinals last offseason on a one-year deal.
He began the season on the practice squad but eventually was signed to the active roster. He played in eight games and logged 116 special teams snaps and 37 on offense, although he was never even targeted for a pass. He had seven special teams tackles.
His season ended when he broke his arm in a game.
He re-signed this offseason on a one-year contract worth $1.4 million. He received $187,500 to sign and will make a little more than $1.2 million. Almost $1.1 million of that is guaranteed. His cap hit, as it is a qualifying veteran deal, will count $1.22 million.
Fehoko is in a battle to make the back end of the roster, so he is on the roster bubble, although his guaranteed money suggests he might have a leg up.
Can he continue to be a stud on special teams? More importantly, as it has been what has troubled him in his career, can he stay healthy?
