Five-star edge rusher KJ Green has finalized his five official visits, per 247Sports’ Benjamin Wolk. The talented prospect made the first stop on his recruitment trail in Athens, as Green is visiting the Georgia Bulldogs from May 15-17.

Green is regarded as one of the top defensive players from his class. Standing at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Green has drawn serious interest from Georgia throughout his recruitment, and the Dawgs find themselves in his top-five schools. Green will take an official visit with his four other finalists following his Georgia visit, as the talented edge rusher will be taking trips to Oregon (May 29-31), Texas (June 5-7), South Carolina (12-14), and Alabama (June 19-21).

Green is ranked as the No. 2 edge and the No. 8 recruit from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings. The eltie recruit is listed as the No. 2 player out of Georgia. Green will look to continue to dominate at the high school level during his senior campaign at Stephenson High School and the edge may stay home and play for Georgia in the near future.

Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class has taken a massive hit following the decommitment of multiple players in recent weeks. 3-star WR Aden Starling has decommitted from Georgia, while 5-star CB Donte Wright has flipped his commitment to Miami.
