Arizona's "biggest weakness" is at quarterback, per
@MikeClayNFL

"Kyler Murray is gone, leaving Jacoby Brissett as the probable Week 1 starter. The veteran racked up the counting stats in 12 starts last season, but Arizona throwing a league-high rate was a primary factor."

@ASchatzNFL says BJ Ojulari is a "nonstarter to know" for the upcoming season:

"It's time for Ojulari to step up and fulfill the potential he showed as a second-round pick in 2023, when he had four sacks as a rookie before a 2024 knee injury knocked his career off track."
Had me at nonstarter.

@MikeClayNFL believes tight end is Arizona's "biggest strength" on the roster

"This starts and ends with Trey McBride, who has emerged as one of the NFL's top playmakers at the position."

you found it suspect when I reported it a few months back too.
but its straight from the horses mouth...PJJ said he wants to be the first $40mil a year LT in an interview...
in the end, I think they will compromise and structure the deal so he gets that $40mil per in one of the years...thenlike $36mil in the other years
Again, this is like every player saying they want to be the best ever or the best at their position. It's hyperbole, a goal oriented mindset, and not an actual negotiation position based on where he currently is as a player. If PJJ was the best LT in football, it would be a different story. He isn't. He has no argument that he is based on career achievements or stats.

I understand your position but based on watching the interview at the time with the look on the kids face...he was completely serious that he wants 40mil a year,

does that mean he is asking for that now?? Of course not...he likely intended to rank higher at this point than he currently does... but to underestimate the ego of these players would be a huge mistake...it is quite possible that regardless of rankings he honestly believes that he is the very best Left Tackle in the NFL...
but fortunately we are not up against it just yet..so there is still time to play wait and see....he could go out there this season and deliver an all pro performance and end the season ranked as the best of the best... the question then becomes,...is the best LT in the league worth 40mil a year?? at that point we look at what is Monti willing to pay his first ever draft pick

Phillip Lindsay made the Pro Bowl as a rookie running back in 2018, so I asked him: should we expect the same from Jeremiyah Love in Year 1?

"If you get drafted third overall, that man better go to the Pro Bowl. That should be the expectation. They’re drafting you that high because they believe you can come in and make some noise."

Bro gotta get rid of DRob he’s all talk.

Unfortunately Monti didn’t draft any defensive players so we have to keep running this loser and Zaven Collins out there week after week.
