Well this is fun. The Athletic put out some #content today on "NFL offseason winners and losers".

Their winners were the Rams, Ravens, Browns, Cowboys, and Raiders.
Losers were the Jaguars, Cardinals, Packers, and Dolphins.
Arizona Cardinals

At 3-14, the Cardinals already had a low floor, but they actually might be worse after this offseason. The team has several big question marks hanging over the coaching staff after taking a large gamble on first-time head coach Mike LaFleur, who struggled in his lone stint as a play caller with the Jets and revived his reputation by working under McVay for three seasons with the Rams. LaFleur hired Nathaniel Hackett as his offensive coordinator, despite Hackett’s struggles as head coach with the Broncos and as offensive coordinator with the Jets.

Arizona parted with the talented yet oft-injured Kyler Murray and opted against upgrading its quarterback position. Veteran Jacoby Brissett, who went 1-11 as the Cardinals’ starter last season, held out for much of the offseason. Rookie running back Jeremiyah Love, the No. 3 pick in the draft, represents the main bright spot in an offseason of conservative moves.

I find this report very questionable.
100% questionable.

PJJ is being quoted from over a year ago. He was talking about his mindset to become the best LT in the league and eventually becoming the first $40M per year tackle in the league.

Now all the jokers who pretend to be reporters by quoting real reporters, and probably would have only 10 views if not for Adrian posting all of their crap on here, are saying he is seeking $40M per year on his next contract. All this based off a report these Wanna Be bloggers took out of context. Shocking!

Here is the article from last year where he mentions the $40M per year as a goal:

Will Johnson on his approach in year two:

"I feel like hard work is undefeated and the person that puts the most work in is always gonna come out on top. So just continuing to keep that edge and just buying stock in the defense."

Will Johnson on HC Mike LaFleur:

"He's been great ... He's brought in a good culture of just hard work, being disciplined, detailed, and not taking any day for granted."

has Arizona's defense ranked 30th heading into the 2026 season:

"The Cardinals didn't bring aboard any true difference-makers in free agency before ignoring that side of the ball through the first two days of the draft."

"I love Arizona, man. There's nothing about the place that I hate. Obviously wish we won more games, but it's a special place. I love being there, and hopefully we'll turn it around."

Trey McBride says he dislikes "Seattle" the most in the NFC West

"That's a tough place to play. Their defense is a bunch of crap talkers. They have a really good team, too. I feel like every time we go to Seattle, it's such a hostile environment."

Trey McBride on the Titans game:

"That was a tough game for us. We should have never lost that game. At the time, they were 0-4, about to fire their head coach, and he got one more week on the job. They fired him the next week."

Worst off season in Cards history. Let’s keep Monti though.

Nobody cares about ESPN. Heck, how many off-seasons have we seen the Cards get great ratings, only to come out and lay a season long egg? More than we can count!

Uh… not many. We’re usually picked to be bottom feeders of the league who routinely lose the top FA on the market and get trashed for our draft picks and signing over the hill guys to stupid contracts.

More than we can count!

lol… I think we follow different teams. We’re routinely picked to be terrible.
