OK, I have to ask, better than Steph Curry?
From three, yes. Steve Kerr doesn't play in the NBA anymore.

Luke Kennard finished the 2025-26 NBA regular season leading the league in three-point percentage at 47.8%. [1]
His incredible efficiency from deep also cemented his legacy as one of the best shooters in basketball history. With a career three-point percentage of 44.2%, Kennard ranks second on the Wikipedia List of NBA career 3-point field goal percentage leaders, trailing only Steve Kerr. You can track his latest game logs and year-by-year splits on the ESPN Luke Kennard Player Page. [1, 2]

Steph did that as a starter and has been in the league 8 more years than Kennard. So not a good comparison.
The same works with percentages. It's actually harder to maintain a shooting percentage the longer you play.

If Kennard can keep his 3pt% up taking 10-12 3's per game while being the focus of opposing defenses, then we are really on to something.

I’m not sure if this a bit or not. Suns fans have gone a little cuckoo over some role players.
Oh I think most of us know what we added in Kennard. He's a solid rotation piece with a highly coveted skill (elite shooting). I didn't want to lose Grayson but Luke gives us much the same. I just hope he's not similar when it comes to availability.

Yeah, really weird. I'm happy with the signing but I don't think he's better than a healthy a healthy Grayson Allen.

Kennard is a good shooter, but he is also a guy who has a reputation of protecting his percentages. I don't think that will fly with Ott.

I would have preferred Allen, but not for the money. He could create a little bit.

So can Luke (I think) although I've never noticed him being that aggressive. He's not a player that I've paid a lot of attention to but I thought he handled and created fairly well for his size.

As I watch and research, Allen and Kennard seem like virtually the same player. Kennard is a slightly better shooter, Allen is probably a slightly better defender. Creating, they seem about the same to me.

Grayson Allen is fearless driver of the basketball. I would hope Kennard can do that, especially with his 3pt shooting, but I'm hesitant to say he is as efffective as Grayson at doing that.

Allen had some ability to create his own shot. I don't see much of this with Kennard.

Best shooter anybody could have gotten. Best shooter period.
I think Steph Curry could make a very good argument that is not the case, and several others.

Part of being a deadly shooter is the ability to get shots up also.
