It's a bit perplexing that Ace Bailey may still be trying to control his destination after being drafted.

He is supposed to arrive in Salt Lake City on Monday.

I'm not a big NBA fan, but I do follow the Suns as they are my home team. I started actually watching Suns games during the Pandemic and then through the Chris Paul years. I loved how young and talented this team was. Then Ishbia came in and traded a bunch of my favorite young players away for Durant. I was not happy about that. I tried to follow the Suns the last two years but found them totally unwatchable. This team had no Heart IMO.

I'd like to see the Suns back in the playoffs next year but I really just want a Suns team that I enjoy to watch at this point. Hopefully this infusion of young talent will get the Suns back to playing like they were before the Durant trade. I just want to see some heart and hustle on the court this season as the young guys grow in the system. I'm hopeful for the future assuming Ishbia doesn't do something stupid moving forward.

What the hell is he doing?

Do not give in Jazz. The draft is necessary for a fair competitive league.

I'm finding myself rooting against him the more this scenario goes on.
I probably should be more against his advisors (as he is a kid) but he plays a major role of this entitled attitude.
At some point you have to just straight up be grateful for the opportunity you're blessed with.

It's like hitting the lottery and being upset at which state you won it in.

Compound his behavior with the inexcusably poor performance of Rutgers despite having 2 of the top 5 players in the country. It definitely raises red flags.

Good thing we did not get a chance to pick Ace Bailey.

Happy with what we got. Maluach, Fleming, Brea. Youth movement is under way. God job Ish and Gregory!

Need to figure out what to do with Brooks and Green. Can they be dealt straight away or do we have to wait a little while?

Kevin who?

I remember when the Suns drafted power forward Jayson Williams at #21 in the 1990 draft, but he refused to sign with Phoenix.

I did see him at a Suns workout in street clothes, though. He signed some autographs.

I like what the suns did in the draft. Some good young players which was badly needed. GM Brian Gregory stepped up and made some good moves especially in the second round. Also glad they traded KD. Wish they would have gotten more but that has been beaten to death on other threads. Now comes the hard part in getting under the apron and trying to get rid of Beal and build the rest of the team. IMO we are looking more exciting and we may actually have a team to cheer for!!

Sorry you can't just have rookies and 2nd year people.

I really like the trend that NIL has created of international players coming over to play a year or two of college ball. It should help weed out some of the the Darkos and Benders. Also, I like that players can now afford to stay in school and continue to develop instead of declaring too early and washing out.
