Huntley might make an interesting two-way player if the Suns go that direction again and promote Bouyea.

Fleming has improved, a lot. He has the size and athletism, and now need to practise and play with the rotation players, to be playable for even more minutes.

it has to be motivating for our rookies to watch fleming get valuable minutes after the work they all put in together - they see it's a process - know what's expected - and that's its achievable

honestly maluach / brea and even huntley could be our draft class next year - they'll likely be better than whoever we draft atleast considering where we'll be picking - this g-league team is everything - huntley is long and fast - i liked what we saw

Fleming looked good but I think Dillon's injury combined with the lack of consistency for Dunn has required the Suns to turn to Fleming more than they'd prefer. We're lacking in front court depth so it gives him an opportunity whether he proves he's ready or not is up in the air.

Hopefully it works out.
I think also being able to guard Luka and not getting burned by staying on his feet and not biting on all the Luka fakes, etc., showed his defense is good enough to cover at least one top scorer in the league. Pretty impressive because we see some of our veteran players falling for Luka's antics.

This guy has size, and at least in the G League he racks up rebounds. Both things we could use. I haven't been watching him play. I have no idea how raw he is on offense or defense though. His size is intriguing. If we could add a young guy like him to make us a bigger team, even if it was as a second unit guy, that would be, pardon the pun, HUGE!

I was mad the previous season we didn't have anyone like Huntley on our G League squad. That is the one criticism I have with it, is we don't seem to get enough bigs. The team knows we need PF prospects, yet we load up on guards and smaller wings. We have enough of those on the big club. LOL. Try and get some prospects in the pipeline like Huntley, please!

The last time I saw Huntley play, he was still raw, but he is athletic and the upside is there.

I liked his motor from what I remember. I'm always on board with guys who have high motor even if they're flawed elsewhere. Much rather have Bismack types than Bol Bol types.
Huntley would be a mash up of the two. Built like a mini Bol Bol, but hustle like a Bismack?

The Valley Suns complete a trade for a first round draft pick trading Tyrese Samuel.
