The Sandy Valley Cardinals open the 2026 high school football season on Aug. 20.

The Cardinals, 0-10 a year ago, are in Division V, Region 17 for the postseason.

Here's a look at their schedule this season, as well as a look back at their 2025 scores.

2026 OHSAA playoff information​

The state playoffs begin Oct. 30. The OHSAA state championship games are Dec. 3-5 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
