Whats funny is that a portion of the board would be more excited about drafting a third round WR while Zay Jones is likely to outproduce a 3rd round WR.
Count me in that group.
I like the Jones signing... but a third round rookie has the advantage of being undeveloped and loaded with untapped potential.
Possibilities are always more exciting than we'll known beige.
Not to mention there was tons of wr talent this draft.

Sorry.... tonnes

They're not mutually exclusive. I don't expect Zay Jones to outproduce the current third-round WR we'll have in camp.

Like the way the Cards are pressing the roster forward.

A solid veteran should outproduce a 3rd wr unless they are drafted by the Rams :)

I find it an interesting exercise to go back and look at drafts four years ago and see how few players actually end up being good.

This historic WR class probably has over a dozen disappointments.

That's why guys like Tez Walker are so iffy...if you have questions about them as NFL prospects, the player is highly unlike to make it in the NFL.

Is signing of Zay confirmed? If so, I like this signing a lot. Not a ton of expectations regarding production but I think he’s a viable legitimate nfl player who bolsters an area of need.
Yep it was confirmed and agree fully.

The Cardinals needed a possession guy who could get you 50-80 catches if need be and Zay Jones fits that bill.

I didn't realize he was the son of former Cowboys LB Robert Jones from the 90s.
