i believe the Clips and Warriors will be the biggest threat in the West,
so i'm not sure who to root for tonight

i'd rather the Clips lose, but if they do, they play the next game for the right to be in our bracket
and the Timberwolves have that psycho-devil Pat Beverly which would put Paul at a real risk (swatting at Paul's hands which would only get him a foul call)
Yeah… I see Beverly constantly slapping at Pauls wrist to reinjure him

the irony -- of us entering the 2022 playoffs with Kawhi Leonard still out when during our 2021 series the Clips were saying he was "day to day"
I honestly wonder whether Kahwi wants to play basketball anymore.

it's hard to believe he doesn't want to play
but easy to question how much he wants to play

if the nba put out a all-team head-cases at the end of the year he'd easily be on it
-- with some of the other most talented players in the nba

top 10 anyone?

I read somewhere Kendrick Nunn was opting-in to stay with the Lakers next season.

wow I literally 2 minutes ago realized I don't see a NBA draft thread for this year. And of course it's because the Suns are the best teamin the NBA, the Warriors are good so most of the people who in recent years past were talking about who to draft, are focused on the playoffs.

I'd love it as long as it isn't basically Tim's story from Tim's viewpoint. I'd love to know the truth, I'm not sure we can get it from the NBA but I'm damned sure we won't get it from Donaghy.

Have you read his book? I've been meaning to but I haven't gotten around to it and am hesitant to purchase it because I'd rather not give him my money.

Anyone who has read Donaghy's book is welcome to chime in with a review of sorts.

Shockingly, Simmons "back soreness" returned today and he is now out for tomorrow.

I saw countless people predict this a couple days ago.

He's such a wuss. Nets would be wise to trade him before he breaks a nail or stubs his toe and sits out the whole year again.

I seriously doubt another team would trade for Simmons with him being locked-in for another three seasons on a salary between $35-40 million each season.

True. Maybe the kings would still want him... who knows. He's charmin soft though and I seriously hope he doesn't win in arbitration vs the Sixers because then every player will know they can just sit out for whatever reason and still collect checks.

I don't even think the Kings would do that. The Nets might have to keep him for awhile.
