After revolving turnovers, DT hits a '3' to take the lead.

And Skylar puts us up 96-91. 55 seconds to go.

Turner with 21 boards.

The Mercury pull it out 100-95. They are the pride of Phoenix sports.

They have won 7 of their last 8. Without Brittney Griner.

Good going, ladies! :)

What a win. We never should have let it come down to a close game let alone having to have a half court 3 go in, but whatever. A win is a win! Props to the usual ballers Skylar Diggins-Smith and DT. Extra props for Turner and her 20+ rebounds and Peddy’s three huge steals in crunch time. And to Kia Vaughn for gutting it through despite the knee.

I would suggest that it's not surprising that it turned into a close game.

They beat us in the previous game. And I think that the Mercury had to
use only seven players in each game. And DT is not getting any younger.

And we had clinched a playoff spot so, although you want to win, it is
not an essential game, especially with some players hurting.

And, as a reminder, Sandy's plan was to push DT in the 1st and 4th
quarters to win the game. They just did it in the 1st quarter and OT.

BTW, don't forget our high scoring Center is MIA. Some of us feel
that the team is better without her, but it is still a missing link and
a big adjustment late in the season.

Oh agreed, we are playing so well despite losing two good players for the season. I was only referring to blowing a 22 pt lead :) That 3rd quarter was just horrendous.
