The Phoenix Mercury announced a multiyear naming rights partnership with Mountain America Credit Union for the team's practice facility on Wednesday, April 23.

The $100 million facility, which opened in July 2024, will be called the Mountain America Performance Center. In addition to naming rights, Mountain America is investing in the Jr. Mercury Legacy League, an all-girls youth basketball league.

Mountain America Credit Union also purchased the naming rights to the football stadium at Arizona State University in August 2023, which was renamed Mountain America Stadium from Sun Devil Stadium.

The 58,000-square-foot facility features several amenities including two full-sized basketball courts named after Mercury legend Diana Taurasi, a film room with theatre-style seating and a player lounge with a dedicated chef.

“Expanding the Mercury’s partnership with Mountain America through this historic investment demonstrates our shared commitment to elevate women’s sports,” Mercury and Suns chief executive officer Josh Bartelstein said in a statement. “From adding Mountain America’s name to the Mercury’s world-class facility to their support of the Jr. Mercury Legacy League, this partnership focuses on empowering female athletes and growing women’s basketball at all levels.”

Training camp at Mountain America Performance Center is set to begin on April 27. The regular season opener is May 17 at PHX Arena vs. the Seattle Storm.
