I'm so sorry this messes up everyone's plan to attend the draft but I am so pleased there will be a draft.

At least the NFL is providing some bright moments in sports these days.

I will enjoy it this way with every players picked being shown at his home with his family and friends surrounding him. It will still be fun, even though different.

I am sure they will just do it in Vegas next year as a make up. Hopefully we are all still around and can go

On a related note, imagine how angry Kansas basketball fans are right now. There will be no makeup ever for that program to finish a potential title run. Couldn’t happen to a finer program

Great news!

I am really looking forward to this years draft. We are close to having a much better roster.

Now if SK can learn how to draft...

I think San Diego St and Dayton fans are more pissed. Kansas is a team routinely in the top rankings...

Speaking of Vegas, lots of FA's heading that way.

I've been thinking about the logistics of the NFL Draft for the last week or so and heard Adam Scheftner suggest spreading out the draft over 7 days.

I've had similar thoughts but would structure it this way:

Thursday - Round 1 (15 minutes per pick)
Friday - Round 2 (15 minutes per pick)
Saturday - Rounds 3 and 4 (5 minutes per pick)
Sunday - Rounds 5-7 (5 minutes per pick)

15 minutes is way to damn long for round 1 and especially to long for round 2. Talk about a snooze fest. 5-7 should be about 3 minutes max.

I doubt any players will be surrounded by family & friends...may be some family, but friends would just be foolish. But as this virus spreads like wildfire, the amount of fools around this country is becoming clearer by the day.

Stay home and stay safe people!

Edit: And no, I am not suggesting SBF is a fool...
