Darcy Kuemper and Antti Raanta both out today, taking part in full practice in their non-Kachina gear ahead of tomorrow’s road opener in Anaheim. As expected, Eric Comrie has not yet arrived to practice with the team.

It is worth noting that after the first line the other three are basically interchangeable. So I wouldn’t get too worked up about who is playing where.

Tocchet said that he still needs to check with the trainers, but expects that Raanta is good to go. Believe Comrie is currently held up by visa stuff.

The Coyotes‘ morning skate is an optional (Ducks, too) so there are no line rushes because only nine skaters are on the ice.
No surprise, but per coach Rick Tocchet, the extras tonight will be F Barrett Hayton and D Kyle Capobianco.

Yep. Totally dominating possession time and shots but one odd man rush and Anaheim leads. Ugh.

For perspective, Coyotes fans: 24 goaltenders have already played in the last two days. Darcy Kuemper's .931 sv% is seventh-best so far, and he just lost. John Gibson has been, literally, the best goaltender to play so far.

Not a perfect game, but that's a rough draw.

Coyotes will practice at 12:15 today. Curious to see if head coach Rick Tocchet plays around with the forward lines and pairings a bit after a few forwards fell flat last night.
