It was 5 drops against the Seahawks and there were more against the 49ers so that stat isn't accurate. Every QB has to deal with drops but it has been criminal what Rosen has had to deal with.

I saw on the ESPN ticker that Josh Rosen has the highest percentage of under pressure throws for all starting QBs.

Rosen did well so far. At times he played it too safe, throwing too high. This is something he's gonna correct.

Still sad that we let him run this old-as-my-socks uncreative McCoy offense. Imagine him in an innovative system where playmakers are put in space, with easy reads and easy completions to establish a rhythm. Guess Rosen is chosen to learn the NFL game the hard way.

Finally a great young QB prospect. A significant number of Cards fans probably can't remember the last time we had one.

Is the offense too vanilla or did they water it down to protect him?

If they simplified it they need to cut him loose this weekend.

Add at least 7 drops and 2 touchdowns. Not to mention being strapped with a OC whos greatest gadget play called this year has been a screen pass.

He is learning under the worst circumstances possible. Imagine how prepared he’ll be when surrounded with mild competence

A lot of vitriol pointed his direction in the gameday thread. Patience. Rosen is in a very uncomfortable situation for a young QB. The 4th quarter of this game in which he went 12-18 150 yards 2 TDs and a 2-point conversion is proof that he has the goods.

Yep, he has always been a rhythm passer. Takes his drop, bounces once, sets his feet, and fires. He did that today and it was awesome. Now let's get him some better protection and some WRs that catch and we'll be onto something.

I agree. When he was given time, and when his receivers executed, he was effective. Very effective in fact.

He's built to stand in the pocket and fire lasers. He's our QBOTF dream come true.

Also had a couple passes dropped, poor protection, and was in a walking boot a week ago because of the coaching staff. He survived McCoy. Just keep him healthy and let him learn. Still can’t believe he is only 21
