I Just Called Sports Authority and Asked about new Jerseys

So where did I challenge your knowledge of history, or try to claim I knew any more about it than you? What an ego, to even think so much of my posts would even directly be concerned about YOU, personally??? amazing, simply amazing!!!

I Just Called Sports Authority and Asked about new Jerseys

You are right except for the part about "this must make them automatically dumb". That's your comment and certainly doesn't reflect my views.

I Just Called Sports Authority and Asked about new Jerseys

:violin: And you are supposed to be a moderator? What a complete joke! And where was I "whining" about anyone being fans as long as I have? You are as bad as Cheesy for twisting and distorting other people's comments to fit your own little take. My whole point was...

What is a "burner", and why do we need one?

:barf: A one track mind....and it's derailed.

I Just Called Sports Authority and Asked about new Jerseys

__________________ I think these are great posts. I couldn't agree more that it seems the majority of those who are pimping radical changes do tend to be the newer, lamer, bandwagon-type fan. And I couldn't disagree with the this post more: Yes they are the Arizona cardinals and...

Big Cards announcement on Thurs per Jurecki

uummmm......somewhere along the line here it seems two different topics got collated into one. 1. a Mike Jurecki radio report of a press conference 2. Lex posting about something entirely different ....and the two got confused into one.

    Rich Gannon anyone??

Big Cards announcement on Thurs per Jurecki

The corporate sponsor scenario does indeed have the right "smell". I really doubt any uni changes, which they have already said will not be major, will be announced until the new stadium is ready to go. But bringing on board a corporate sponsor and all the related advertising that would go...

Big Cards announcement on Thurs per Jurecki

Right now my first guess would be that it has something to do with the earlier report that the Cards might be playing their exhibition games somewhere else.

    Explain to me Ken Lucas.

Here's my 2 cents: I don't think Lucas is over rated. Living up here in Seahawk country, seeing a lot of their games and all the Seahawk fans, I can say he's a popular player. Especially in this day and age when the norm is to lean towards "everyone sucks" until proven otherwise, I would...

    2005 Outlook

As you say....that's an opinion. I gotta say, that last post was some of the best tap dancing I've seen in a while. :O

    2005 Outlook

I totally disagree here. ' Although Wilson did show the physical tools from day 1. The biggest problem he had was lack of discipline and trying to make highlight film plays every play, and not being a good team player, out of position too many times, etc. I don't think that was "just"...

    Saban will limit team information

Thomas Jefferson once said: "When you do something, act as if the whole world is watching". This is a perfect example. Rocco, you have made some great points IMO. I've never followed Nick Sabin's career. I haven't been that much into college football in a long time. But from what...

    Saban will limit team information

I'm with Rocco all the way on this. And the above post makes one giant invalid leap in logic....that being the equating of winning with media control and losing with none. That's pie in the sky. Totally invalid logic. Since when does a team or coach have to be such an extreme control...

    Saban will limit team information

You haven't seen any difference? Have you been sleepwalking? Among other things ask Skkorp, Nidan, or Brigheyes. And that's just for starters.

    2005 Outlook

Good post, Jeff. I'd pretty much agree with this take with maybe only a couple of added comments. 1. I just don't see the need to burn a high draft pick on a QB. We need a vet backup not another "potential" rookie. Those high round picks can can be used so much more effectively in other...

    QB situation and solution

And this I agree with. Yes some players may have more of an "innate" jump on others as far as "seeing" or "reading" the field. But for just about any young QB, no matter how great their natural skills may be, the pro game is so much faster than anything they've played before, it really...

    QB situation and solution

Balderdash! The theories expressed above have more holes than swiss cheese. I don't have time to respond in detail now, but I will later. "A QB can't learn to read the field better with experience?" Do you honestly believe that crap ?

    QB situation and solution

Both Fitz and BJ were hobbled by injuries too. The "receiving corps better than 90% of other NFL teams" may be indeed just that "on paper" but it wasn't "on the field" this year. Yes "potential-wise" I would agree. But it was not there on the playing field most of this year.

    QB situation and solution

Once again, just for the record. In no way do I intend to compare Josh to Michael Vick. He is a totally totally unique individual. There is NO ONE like him. He's a freak. But even he is just hitting his stride now. (his 4th year in the league, same with Brees) Yeah, he seemed on...

    QB situation and solution

Just for the record! Russ on your last post you included a quote from me, the last line must have been some typo-type error on your part because the "IMHO but he was a near bust this year" is not a statement I made. It must have been one you made, and got it pasted in the wrong spot. And...

    QB situation and solution

Let's just say there's not a point here that I agree with. (except for the 3 year "rebuilding" process, which is not what is going to improve this team.) Josh was brought in here knowing he was not going to be an instant success. Looking back over the past few years the QB's that most seemed...
