Maybe it is an announcement to be renamed "The Los Angeles Cardinals of Arizona"

I think the all black background is a sign that they are going to use all black helmets next year so the players brains fry during the games.

Either they are putting the bird logo back on the sleeves of the white jerseys or they are naming the sponsor of the stadium.

It just looks different because of the black background...can't see the outline of the neck...

it does look a little meaner. it's interesting on the black background too. nice use of negative space. would look cool on an all-black helmet.

The reason its Thursday is that Graves, Green and staff are all in Mobile watching players workout prior to the Senior Bowl on Satuday. Most of ths staffs return on Thursday after the last practices.

IMO its a big public relations showing most likely on new logos and uniforms.

That's because there is speculation that with that email blast, and ads/billboards that are coming out, combined with a Huge news conference, taken together suggest outcome A.

So really, it's all part of the same topic.

I dont think so.

1. I didnt hear the report by MJ.
2. Lex posted a link (that is no longer working) that took you to a page on the cards website that said "the bird is back" and then a heading that said "A new breed". It also had an animation of a cardinal that ends up smiling.


I check the site pretty regularly and have never seen that before, and now after looking at it a few times this morning it is no longer working.
