you're hilarious with these context-less takes

carson beck was the 3rd qb off the board

clayton tune was the 9th qb off the board

but sure - same thing right? smh
Just remembering how mad you were about my lack of context last year when I was reminding everyone of Gannon and Monti’s win/loss record.

Everything that follows this post.

You can't go into the year with that kind of thinking. How many wins were the Patriots and Seahawks predicted to win last year with Maye and Darnold? You start your best players at the beginning of the year. If the team is failing, then you look to the younger guys. The Cards offense with Brissett put up good enough numbers to win games with a competent defense.
Adding Love, LaFleur, some OL prospects and healthy Marv, who's to say the offense can't put up enough points next year? They did last year with none of that.

Arguing over probably 3-5 million on a likely 1-year deal to make your starting QB the lowest paid starting QB in the league, and actually pay him more than his backup, is preposterous.
Point is with all the changes we are predicted to win 4 games. I think Brissett is a guy that manage the offense. He gives us the best chance to win. However nobody believes he can get us to .500.

But you can't go on predictions. I know you're a White Sox fan too. How many games were they predicted to win and where were they projected to finish? They're in 1st over 100 games in. Nobody saw that coming.

Play your best and see what happens. Brissett is their best option.

You’re definitely not going to get better by selling off and/or benching your objectively better players. Thats why tanking is such an obviously flawed target.

No one in the NFL has ever become a perennial contender by losing on purpose.

Seattle and New England both had a preseason over/under of 8.5 wins last year. The Raiders had a 6.5-win over/under last year. This data point is not reliable.
