Tuchel is unstable. I won’t go as far to say that he sucks. He’s had success as a manager. But he is an egomaniac. He was literally saying after the last match he needed more from his team. Well they needed more from him in this game. And after the game he was mum pretending not to know what went wrong because he lacks basic interview skills. Horrible tactics. They played like they were down a man. They had chances to get a second goal. But Argentina also could have had more than they got.

It's crazy to me that this deep in the tournament, unless you have a 3 goal lead, you absolutely CANNOT park the bus against Argentina!! Whether you believe it's some conspiracy that they'll get back in it or not, at the end of the day Argentina has proven that no lead is safe. Just some really stupid strategy by supposedly really great teams.

Spain was dominant. 1-0 doesn't do this game justice
The best defense is being on the front foot and playing with the ball. Then you don’t have to defend. No one can hold the ball like Spain does. And Spain dominated this game. The final was won in Arlington when they beat France. Offense wins championships. Defending in soccer is losing football. That’s why Argentina are no longer champions. They parked the bus and played for penalties and deserved to lose.
