It's crazy to me that this deep in the tournament, unless you have a 3 goal lead, you absolutely CANNOT park the bus against Argentina!! Whether you believe it's some conspiracy that they'll get back in it or not, at the end of the day Argentina has proven that no lead is safe. The best defense is being on the front foot and playing with the ball. Then you don’t have to defend. No one can hold the ball like Spain does. And Spain dominated this game. The final was won in Arlington when they beat France. Offense wins championships. Defending in soccer is losing football. That’s why Argentina are no longer champions. They parked the bus and played for penalties and deserved to lose.
